PRAISE Report 2 'Fit for Road Safety: From Risk Assessment to Training'

As part of its PRAISE project ETSChas published its second Thematic Report which presents how driver risk assessment and training can improve work related road safety.

The report considers risk assessment as a basis for training, and is of relevance for employers managing all types of vehicles. It is divided into four sections, covering: risk assessment and the business case for driver training in the work context; driver training covered by EU legislation (for truck and bus drivers); driver training of all other vehicle classes; and existing employer level initiatives and best practice including that used by many of the champions of RoadSafe delivered Driving for Better Business campaign.
