Driving for Better Business in Warwickshire
Driving for Better Business is working with the Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership to deliver tools, information and resources tailored specifically to help local businesses with staff who drive for work.
Driving for Better Business is a government-backed National Highways programme. Our mission is to improve the levels of compliance for all those who drive or ride for work by demonstrating the significant business benefits of managing work-related road risk more effectively.
It is free to join and all our resources are free to access and distribute. Check out some of the improvements that have been seen by other local firms and then join the programme to see if your business can benefit.
“The new Driving for Better Business Warwickshire programme supports the Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership Strategy to 2030 and, in particular, the Safe Vehicles and Safe Road User themes. Working in partnership will help us reach our goal of reducing the number of people who are killed or seriously injured on our roads by 50% by 2030.”
“Warwickshire County Council has the primary responsibility for monitoring and improving road safety and making our roads as safe as they can be. Using the Driving for Better Business programme to work in partnership with organisations that employ drivers for work, across Warwickshire, will help make our roads safer for everyone and support Warwickshire’s businesses.”
“Warwickshire Police always chooses to educate first where appropriate and fully supports working with Driving for Better Business to help educate commercial drivers about the benefits of the initiative and how it can improve their drivers’ safety on our roads.
We would encourage all fleet managers to sign up to the Driving for Better Business Warwickshire programme. You’ll be helping to protect your employees and make our county’s roads safer.”
“Working with our partners is vital to the success of the Driving for Better Business programme so we’re excited at the possibilities offered by this new regional collaboration with the Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership to engage local van fleet operators.”
